The ability to breathe deeply and powerfully, fully and freely is inborn and available to us all. 

 

However most of us don’t even think about our breathing, we take the most essential function of our body for granted. Yes, it happens on its own - it’s automatic to breathe - but it is the way in which we breathe that determines the quality of our health, energy and life. Conscious breathwork is about becoming aware of our breath and consciously breathing with the purpose and intention to invoke positive change in our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

For so many, breathing disorders are impacting detrimentally on every aspect of our wellbeing. Whether it’s your sleep, your nervous system, your digestion, your immunity, your libido, and/or emotional and mental health or your everyday energy levels you’d like to change, breathwork & breath therapy offer you a path and practice to train your breath so you can tap into your body's #1 self-healing system – for optimal health, energy, efficiency & performance.

I have worked in natural health and transformational healing for over 20 years in NZ and overseas, training and practising in bodywork therapies, neuro-linguistic programming, embodied counselling, somatic movement, nutrition and detoxification, sexuality and relationship coaching.

Breath has always played a key part in my work and breath therapy and conscious breathwork are now the primary focus of my healing practice.

I believe how we breathe is paramount to feeling fully and vibrantly alive. Conscious breathwork is the natural sustainable tool available to us in every moment, forming the foundation for optimal health and wellbeing. We can literally change our entire state of being with a single breath.

How we breathe influences every piece of our self, including our sexuality and our ability to connect freely with ease and pleasure. Our relationship with our breath affects our relationship with ourselves and others – it’s a rich, deep journey to explore and even small changes to how we breathe can lead to more fulfilling and transformational life experiences.

My intention is to offer you knowledge, guidance and inspiration for the exploration of your breath and lifeforce energy. I will encourage self-awareness, self-responsibility and personal empowerment in our work together. I’ll meet you as a unique individual with a practical, compassionate, sensitive and supportive approach.

My own breath journey continues to unfold, discovering more and more how my breath shapes my energy and how my energy impacts everyone around me. I’m learning, loving and curious as to how much aliveness I can generate with every breath I take.

I’m grateful to my parents for sharing their love of nature, sensuality, sunshine and vitamin sea and to now be living on the beautiful Kapiti Coast of New Zealand where each day I breathe and feel the fresh ocean air.
